About Me
I am passionate about all things engineering, and I enjoy learning about innovations that help improve our lives. My current focus is to become proficient with techniques in data science and machine learning to do just that. My hobbies include anything that keeps me physically active, primarily snowboarding, wake surfing, and hiking.
I am currently working as a data scientist for Advent International. At Advent, I am developing LLM applications to improve automation efforts for customer service, sales, and data entry teams. I have also built some forecasting models for internal diligence on billion-dollar companies that Advent was interested in purchasing.
After graduating in 2021, I worked for a year as a data scientist at Boston Consulting Group. At BCG, I training recommender system models for consumer retail brands serving over 3 million customers. I was mainly responsible for feature engineering, writing tests, and implementing CI/CD pipelines to enable the evolution of customer behavior. I mainly used included Pyspark, MlFlow, and Databricks to accomplish these tasks, but also worked with a variety of additional software engineering tools.
I graduated with my masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Before graduating, I interned at NVIDIA and Salesforce as a data scientist focusing on machine learning applications. My main areas of interest were optimization, image processing, and software engineering.
